Interleaved 2 of 5 (also referred to as USS Interleaved 2 of 5,Code 25 Interleaved, and ITF) is a high Density, numeric only barcode.Because each Interleaved 2 of 5 barcode character represents two Digits, it is a very Compact barcode and ideal for numeric data. If other characters and functions are required such as letter, tabs, returns, etc.another barcode should be considered such as Code 39 or Code 128.Because Interleaved 2 of 5 barcodes encode numbers in pairs a leading zero may be required for a number with an odd number of digits.
